Since the north loop is closed for a while, I figured I would post this map of other trails in that area that I like to hit on a weekly basis. The trails are not official but are definitely fun and offer some good alternatives for people who live in that area as well.

Someone reported that some of these areas are habitat sensitive (no bikes) and/or private property.

Cedar Lake area has historic planting that the Cedar Lake Association maintains and protects that and the area the trail goes thru MPRB does not allow bike. The Hobo camp is private property owned by BNSF rail. They patrol the area and ticket trespassers.

I figured as much. Which areas in particular?
If you ride through robbinsdale/GV section, could you help clean out the big sticks that are being put in the trails? This started right after the big city meeting against putting in frisbeegolf course. We have almost caught them and sounds like it is the frisbee people. Be good to walkers and their dogs. There is a lot of them.

Yeah, I noticed that too. I thought it was walkers trying to keep bikers out but that makes more sense. I have been clearing the sticks as I come across them.

Frisbee Golfers... there's a group you don't want to cross.
