The City of Lakes Loppet ski race is this coming Sunday. Temps are forecast to be pretty decent.
Saturday there will be a lot of grooming going on to make the ski trail as best as they can make it. We prefer that riders do not ride on Saturday and allow the groomers to make an awesome ski trail for the premier race of the season.
Sunday will be the race. Please do not ride the trails until after 1pm or so. There is too much of a risk riding while 1000's of skiers will be racing on the ski trails. After one, please be very cautious since there will be a lot of extra ski traffic, both racing and non-racing.
We have worked hard to keep relationships good between skiers and mountain bikers. Please help us continue this great relationship we have worked hard the achieve.
