So I bought some wheels for my bike and they have stickers all over them. I find them kinda overdone.
As far as opinions go…should I tear them mostly off?
Thoughts…

It's a personal choice dude! If you don't like them, remove them.....simple as that.

Yeah, I know. Just thought it would be interesting to get others opinions. If we can debate the merits of pink things, why not stickers?

Stop being a panzy about the stock stickers. Step up with the big boys and get some wheeltags. Preferably the ones with skulls.

You want to protect them there stickers. Keep them like new. Then when you want to sell the wheels the new buyer won't notice the broken spokes and other bends and things and will think the wheels are brand new! :D
P.S. I love Stickers almost as much a Tee Shirts.

Those are perty.
I think I must be getting old though:confused:
Since I work in printing I guess I shouldn't complain about stickers.

The key word here is WITH.
With their products, not on their products. Then the buyer of said part has the choice to customize at their will.

Not if you're riding a blacked out Monocog with red flames on the top tube, a flamed seat and grips, a Titec HellBent bar, Panaracer Fire tires and a skull that lights up hanging from the brake cables.
I'll take the skulls, please. (We need a skull smilie now.)

Removing the OEM stickers voids the Warranty. Also, alot of knock-offs are so similar how would you know the difference as a consumer.
Sure there are some companies out still in business that would pull this line out if the issue escelated.

I find stickers to be ugly and remove them from pretty much all my bikes (frame, fork, wheels), unless they are covered with clearcoat (ala my Langster). I tend to leave on stickers that call out the frame size or other important things like that, should I ever decide to sell.

I can think of some other "obnoxious stickers" that I find stuck to my socks and clothes after I get done riding some trails.
