Yes, we will be working on the rock armor downhill in the new advanced section that is currently dubbed Section 6!

Bring Gloves, bug spray, water, and long pants to protect from poison ivy(yes I got some last time).

Edit:

Meet at the par 3 lot at 5pm. If you come late, we will be on the trail (not the existing trail). If you don't know where section 6 is, PM me and get my phone number so you can call me if you are late. We will provide the tools.

Is this a rain or shine thing? I don't want to be the lone toolbag sitting there pretending to be Aquaman.

If we do call off trailwork due to either lightning or muddy conditions, we'll post here no later than three thirty.

If the ground is too wet for the rock cart but not too wet for feet, we may decide to postpone the new stuff and work on tread issues that have been waiting for rain.

It poured in downtown Minneapolis for a little while but it's clearing up a bit now.

We will probably need someone to check out the trail around 2ish and give me a call. Are you up for it? If not, anyone else?

Can't get away, unfortunately.

We hope to do the downhill rock armor. It might even be easier if the soil is softer. But if it's too soft for the rock cart, we won't risk damaging the trail to get it there, but I don't think the rock cart will have any issues today since we will mostly be on the service road with it.

Exciting times indeed!! Hope to see you out there!

Great trailwork session. We got started on a pretty sizable rock armor downhill. This is the hardest part and trying to puzzle the rocks together is tricky......but when this is done, it's going to be awesome! Thanks to everyone who came out to help!
