Sweet whip, though, for $1100 i'd get a Paddy wagon and something else really sweet.

I have that bike, bought it right before i moved up here. I like the ride geometry of the frame (plus the ride of sweet sweet 4130), not as twitchy as other fixies i have ridden. the BB is awful creaky, but all and all a sweet bike. FYI, paid half of MSRP for mine.
