A lot of different faces last week and a great ride. Erik's Thursday at Murphy leaving the lot at 6 pm. Looks like weather is not going to be an issue this week at this time. Nothing but fun.

Just to be different and fun I'll be riding the my Pugs this week.

I am going to try to make it. After my commute my legs will probably be shot but I read somewhere this is a no drop pace.

Mile 0 - 35 boring commute to and from work. Miles 35 - 45 at Murphy... a blast. The ride was great and a nice way to finish off my day. My legs actually felt better after the ride than before.

Hopefully I can make it out next week.

Sorry some of you missed the cookies! The mosquitoes weren't very bad around the qualifier and I ended up catching up with Anne for a little while.... will have more cookies if not next week then before this ride is over for the year. :)

Great to meet everyone last night for the ride and what a turnout! I had a ton of fun on the the fat tire beast and looked like everyone had a great time. A little mechanical slowed me down but everyone rode out so a very good day indeed.

Same Bat time, same Bat channel next week.

What an awesome ride at Murphy tonight. I really needed that ride and I got to rip it up with some good fast riders.

I met two new people, Hans and Mike, and they are quite cool.

It was fun to see Saundra and Jodi ride the tough rock section clean after I saw all the guys to the easy route....:). You two rock the skills!!

JJ is awesome for leading this every week! Thanks for the cookies. I was supposed to bring one back for mara who had to work late, but they all got eaten up.

Hope all of you enjoyed the ride as much as I did!!

Another awesome ride tonight due to the people that ran in the pack. You girls and guys are great to ride with. Only two more left for Erik's Thursday night MTB ride at Murphy for this year, don't miss them they are a lot of fun. Glad to see everyone this week and can't wait till next week.


I think I only had one cookie but I know the baker and hopefully I can snag a few more sometime soon. :D

Erik's Thursday night mountain bike ride is this Thursday August 21, 6 pm we leave the lot. Looking to make it another great ride at an awesome trail. Can't wait to ride some dirt!

Last Erik's Thursday night MTB ride at Murphy happens this week. I will be ready to have fun and bringing after ride treats from Susannah. Leaving the lot at roughly 6:10 PM ish or so. Bring your bike and fun for a great end of the year ride. I am looking forward to getting down and dirty at the Murphy.

Very nice alternative. I write this as the wet stuff is pouring down tonight as I sit in S. MPLS listening to a thunderstorm and some Wisely on the cd player. If someone can inform me of the conditions for da Murph I would appreciate it. Glad I came home from work right away as I only had a few drops of rain and a nice lightning show on the way home from work. Two weeks in and I haven't driven my car to work yet. :banana:

1.4 inches of rain fell over the last 2 days with one little tiny wave that could hit this AM. I won't be able to check it this afternoon but I 'm guessing the trail won't be dry. We did need the rain but the timing wasn't to good for you JJ. If anyone can check the trail this afternoon please post up.

Thank you to all that showed up for this year's Erik's Thursday Night Mountain Bike Ride. I am sure to see some or all of you on a trail and thanks again for the fun that you provided for myself.

Guess I'll have to eat the cookies myself. :banana::banana:
