OMG... too easy... but, is he going to have the requisite parking permit? :)

I may have to swing by to try one of these bad boy Niner's as I've been oogling them for a while.

Goodtimes at Theo! My first ride on a 29er. I took out a E.M.D. 9. It was a rocket. Holy smokes!

rode both the RIP and EMD. I liked the EMD, but the RIP was absolutely the finest piece of machinery i have ever straddled.

Five beebop'n bananas for Niner!!:banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

I think I found my next ride. I fell in love with the glow in the dark blue RIP 9. Wow! What a great ride! It sure was great to demo it first. I thought I'd like the large, but when I got on the x-large bike, it was like it was meant for me. I sure could have used one of those at 24 Hours of 9 Mile last weekend!

I am done with 26ers when I finally get the cash together for my RIP 9! 29ers just feel right for me.

Loved the RIP.

It was my first time on a 29er and it was awesome. I rode over obstacles that I never tried before... until I got a little too brave and ate some serious dirt on the last jump. I thought you guys changed it to make it safer?:D

I thought my slow speed and need for 3-4 breaks in a single lap at Theo was because I am fat and out of shape. I guess it really is because I ride a cheap Hard Rock.

Now I have to upgrade.

Geez! I wonder why all of you like the Niner's so much?

I was not that impressed by any of their bikes. I know that niners is a new company but If any of you guys made it to the demo show hosted by Trek in Lebanon at the beginning of summer. There is no point of comparison as far as I am concern. I know I might be comparing apples with oranges but I was not impressed.

I think i'd get a Niner over a Trek solely because it's not a Trek :etard:

I think like you said it is an apples to oranges thing. I've actually never liked Trek's that much. We're all pretty fortunate to have so many different builds, styles, sizes, build materials, etc. to choose from. I guess it all comes down to what you fit well on and what bike you need for what type of riding you want to do. I personally really like the RIP, but if I was shorter, I may like 26ers more. Also, if I was a racer, I don't think I'd like the RIP, but may like a TREK more. All I can say is that I had fun on the RIP and will be considering building one in the future.
