OK - not sure if this one will happen, depends on the weather today, I think we will be OK as long as we don't get rain during the day, really didn't get much here last night.

Guess we will call it around 5..

Not sure where you are but we got drenched last night. There was a couple inches of standing water in the street where I live.

I checked out part of the south trail on the way into cube-land this A.M.

At 8:45am it was too wet to really ride. As long as we get no rain today it might be okay to ride at 6:30. It was in a much dryer condition than I was expecting, but it was still too wet for any real riding.

Decided to ride Murphy instead... just makes more sense... a few of us will be there @ 6:45 if any of you nordeasterners care to join.

That is the second time this week you have referred to me in those terms... come on down to Murphy then!!! :D That's where the cool kidz will be...

Um, Boot's - you have no idea where the cool kids hang out..

We will be at Theo, unless it rains, & I have a feeling we are not going to get any more rain until later.
My lawn was barely wet this morning (and just one small puddle in the street) - I'm not sure who would live closer to Theo than I..

Dirk, you live closer, but I checked out the trail (as mentioned in my previous post), so while you may habitate closer I got a visual inspection. Therefore, I win.

Also, Dirk, check you PM in a minute.

yea because thats the 2nd time you've dissed me this week;)

theo is just a hop, skip and a jump and murphy is almost to iowa.

Most importantly, i like to hang w/the cool kidz. It makes me feel special.

Let us know if the trail is dry. I was at the Green Mill last night at about midnight and Hennepin Avenue had almost a foot of water near the curbs for about an hour.

I would love to ride at Theo now that I am somewhat closer but the tendon in my arm is still really swollen. Yes Dirk, I guess I did do something to injure myself after all:banghead:. Hoping all will be well for the Salsa 24. Currently I can press the swollen spot on my arm (right above my wrist on the back of hand) and feel/hear the tendon snapple and crackle  when doing the "gripping the handle bar" motion.

Have fun kids if you can ride!

I will not be in the area to check until 6PM..

No more rain today, it should be OK? I guess we will have to wait to see.

It is possible that the trail got more rain than my place (I live about 1.5 mi away).. But usually they tend to match up.
I will go by the post in the Murphy thread (which BTW, I do not see an updated conditions for today, Bootsie - so how do you know it's better there?):

Judging by the amount of rain I saw last night I would stay away from Theo unless someone gets there to check it out for sure. It's better to stay off of it for the day than ride it in questionable conditions.

Hopefully someone can give an update, though...

David -
That's a bummer, hope you heal up soon.
Well, you could always medicate yourself & join us post ride.. I'm not saying, I'm just saying..
