Ryan, I've got a rickety old '94 FSR (19") you can ride but you have to promise not to hurt yourself. Let me know early because the brakes need to be reversed. (unless you run moto style too)

I think I'm out because my wife's sister realized that maybe driving Chicago to Apple Valley does not require staying overnight somewhere along the way :eyeroll: and they will show up Thursday evening.

Yup, both beginner and intermediate loops are right there off the parking lot.

The trailhead is the parking lot (off Johnnycake Ridge Road). Just pull in and park and you will see groups of people getting together. Please come over and join us!

I love riding in NC, my fav spot is Bent Creek, Pisgah & Dupont. Hope to see you there.

I think the ride is pretty safe. Nothing really expected and nothing on the radar that I can see.

Radar shows about a 1/2 mile diameter light shower happening in Burnsville. Judging purely by the radar (not 100% reliable), I would say no impact on tonights ride.

I don't think I've been back to Milaca since :crazy2: I was talking to someone else that it's just not a direction I ever have a reason to go for the most part. It would be fun to get another group ride up at CAMBA. Pull some of the old pharts out of the woodwork.

When they are this size its very easy to miss someone who is new, or lose people in the huge train of bikes going around the trail. It can be easy to feel unwelcome at these with so many people riding and so many smaller groups forming up.

Please remember these aren't official MORC group rides, so expectations of formality should be low.

Everyone is also on their own for safety. MORC does not take responsibility for these rides even though they are posted within our forums.

6:31 actually, I was there just in time to see the "group" roll out at 6:30 sharp, then mess with my SS chain before slimp got there. According to my informants he only rode with me for about 5 minutes though;)
