From using both metal and resin compounds I know resin are more powerful than metallic, but metallic last a lot longer.

My question is what are the differences between organic and ceramic, and compared to metallic and resin?

OMG choices are endless. I have been using organic and I don't notice any difference other than they don't seem to last as long as ceramic. Between the 4 I would choose the metallic mainly because they are cheaper, last longer, and I don't really notice the difference between all 4.

Then again I don't brake much either :)

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong - but I think the drawback to the metallics is that they tend to squeal a bit more that orgo's. However, the braking power of the metallics is better than that for orgo's. I use metallics on 180 rotors - and have an extra set of organics and metallics in my toolbox for "just in case" purposes.
