Weather forecast is looking good for the Wed. Night Ride... (here's hope'n we get some rain between now and then).

Meet at the BC Rec Center Parking Lot off Winthrop.

5:15 Easy warm up lap
6:00 Main Event.

New additions to our group are always welcome. Don't let the talk of rabid turkeys, dead raccoons, and Big Sandy hill repeats scare you off.

I'll have the large format BC map at the Green Mill afterward for those that have suggestions on future trail routings or just want to take a closer look at the layout.

Hope to see you there. PM if you need directions.

I'll be there, but shouldn't the schedule look more like this?

5:15 Way too fast warm up lap
6:00 Try to keep up with people that didn't do the warm up ride.
8:30-ish Sam Adams cool down @ Green Mill

Hope to see lots of people there!

Well, I snuck back out there very early this morning and change the name of it. It is now a dihydrogen mono-oxide deflector. And no I will not explain that.

Oh yeah, I am in for the ride.

I might just make this one to prep for the Murphy ride tomorrow. (at 6:00)

Might even ride over for this one, could be faster than driving.. but might not get home in time.

I will be the guy way at the back trying to remember how to use gears and a suspension fork that desperatly needs to be replaced. (like riding on an overcooked spagetti noodle) and puffing like the Couch Potatoe I WAS becoming.

I look forward to seeing everyone!

Here is a possible list of riders for tonight. We have 15 that posted up. Add that to the ones that just show up and this could be a big night.

P.S. Dont forget about the Green Mill after the ride. Its just up the street at Century and I94.

Hey Reed!

We will have to get together and ride over there some time.

i.e. Cross at the Wakota Bridge and take the Trail north along 61.

Or cross at Robert and take the trail east along the river.

Yeah, that would be great. I'd be up for that anytime. I'm headed over to BC today from work(Woodbury) but we should plan to do that sometime soon.

Wow, we broke 20 people last week, I'd like to break 40 once this year!

Be careful for what you wish for. We once were tickled to death when the group was getting above the 25 range. It is fun to see, but it also has its drawbacks....

Having said that I'm excited to ride a place I haven't been for a while with people I haven't ridden with in forever... some since back in the good ol' days when groups were around 8 people, there was no circle, no huge party, and nobody else was even out on the trail ;)

Good times last night. With all the other people out on the trail, that were not with the group, maybe we did reach 40. Count the kids who were walking in the overlook trail.... they were jogging for a bit. Plus the other runners. It was crowded out that. Leg is a little sore walking today, but not too bad. Thanks for all the help getting my seat reattached!!

Nice ride. Thanks for the great group leadership and the trail tour. Fun to get back to my old home trail... lots of great changes have happened and it looks like more to come. Fun to ride with people I don't see often enough.

... and yes, I do make it over the river. :p

It was great riding with everyone last night! Wish we had a bit more moisture in the trail. It's as dusty/sketchy as I've seen it this year.

Like John said it, it was great to ride with those that I've not ridden with for quite a while. Also great to meet some new faces!

Thanks for the good times everyone.

Nice ride last night. The weather was just about perfect. It was great to see another batch of newcomers to the Wed. Night ride.... even if they are MORC old timers.

As usual the warm up lap went out way too fast and we had an unusual rash of crashes and mechanicals last night. Must have been Witching Hour or something.

BC is now very dry and dusty. Everybody do their rain dance!

See ya next week.

Just looked out the window in downtown Mpls, and it is a lot darker than it was 10 minutes ago. 40 minutes ago it was blue skies.... Rain dance must be workin!

Just spoke to a friend who rode out there last night and he commented on how nice everything was. He said they only rode 20 miles with commute but he was whipped. Nice work BC trail crew!

Last year we rode until the end of November doing night rides.

BTW I keep saying the same thing about the Murphy rides. I was planning on next Wed. but just was informed that I'm expected at an evening meeting on the 17th. Oh well... one of these days.
