July 4th or 5th - Murphy or Mammoth?

Anyone up for a ride at these locations or have another ride planned not too much further away?

I've never been to Mammoth so wasn't too keen on getting lost there on my own.

Sounds like we have a group together for the 4th hitting Lebannon, that's about a half hour trek from Murphy. Saturday I am open to hitting any trail, probably murphy.

I know there is a Sunday ride at Murphy, but I would be up for a Saturday ride. Does anyone know if you can get in to Murphy from the west side? The rode was closed last week. I hade to back track over to 35w, cut over on 42, and head south on Burnsville rd.
