In addition to regular Tuesday trailwork next week we will be having another work session Monday. The machine will be out moving rocks around on the trail to help build up a few areas, so helping determine, place and anchor in rocks will be the core of this work session. Other tasks can be worked on as well... continued finishing work etc.

If you can't make Monday, but you can make the regular Tuesday session please check post up in that thread: http://www.morcmtb.org/forums/showthread.php?t=27273

If you can make both.. all the better.

I just wanted to post up that we're not going to be holding Leb trailwork two times a week as a rule. It just so happened that a few of us couldn't do Tuesday and a few couldnt' do Monday.. so we felt with the new trail coming along that we'd have sessions on both days and be prepared for less turnout at each.

What I really want to do is get this new trail opened up then take some time off before coming back in the fall to start up work again when its cooler with less bugs and have given people a break.

I'm pleading for help for the next few weeks.. then we can all share in a huge reward at the end of July when we open things up and celebrate all the hard work.

We're already planning some fun for the grand opening trailwork night... :D

I will be there Monday if I can get off work on time. When Eric gets there he can let you know if I am coming for sure.

Good to see we'll have some people out there tonight. There is finishing work, some misc tasks (a berm still to shape, and one root to cover), and Tim will be out picking up rocks that we'd never be able to move with the attachment he has for the front of the machine.

New trail workers are welcome! This is a great time to learn how finishing trail works or just generally have a chance to select from a lot of different types of work. Large ~mile sized trail projects don't happen often, and this one is winding down... now is your chance to come out and be a part of it.

We'll watch the weather. We could use the rain, things are really dry out there.

If there is lightning or things get too wet we'll cancel. If its just spritzing on us on and off we should be ok. (might actually feel good)

Dang, sorry we missed you! I was out since 3pm today so wasn't doing much on the forums past then.

We used to post a map for people coming late. Had I known I would have done that.

We had a small but powerful showing tonight. Lots of work got done - tons of rocks moved (thanks Tim for bringing out the machine!) and two additional berms created by the BSB boys. Nice!

Now we're getting some rain.. perfect timing to pack down the trail and the berms...

Thanks Tim, Steve, Dave and Todd for coming out to help!
