Murphy Ride and BBQ Sunday July 6th

Well, since the Sunday Murphy rides and BBQ's seem to becoming a big hit, lets try for another one this coming weekend. I am guessing some people might be out of town, so if you are here and want to come ride at Murphy on Sunday do so...

Maybe 1130 in the lot, go for a lap, come back grill and socialize and then maybe another lap after the grilling and socializing part?

I have a small propane weber, but if there are a few people a few grills would be good. I am willing to donate the back of my Element as the buffet line. Bring something to share or if you don't like to share don't.

It was great seeing everyone again, sorry I hit the wall and near died, couldn't breathe in the heat. It was fun though.

Even with the heat I think today was my best ride this year. It was a reminder why driving just a bit farther to Murphy is so worth it.

I finally made it to the ride at Murphy's and missed everyone. I left the lot at about 11:30am. I only rode a 1/3 of the trail and came back hoping to catch up with the group. I ended up hanging in the lot with a couple of guys sipping cool beverages. It was so hot out there we decided to go as the ice disappeared in the cooler. I hope to catch up one of these days:)
