Thursday ride @ Murphy 6pm

I know I can't compete with the Leb ride and all of the letters after, what COL and OC... But A couple of us are going to join the Erik's ride at Murphy this Thursday night. JJ is the leader and the ride is all about having a good time. All speeds welcome...

The ride start time is 6pm-ish or there about. So don't worry about trying to catch up. A no drop ride and having fun riding one of MORC's great trails how can you go wrong. :banana:

I didn't get to ride with you fast guys and gals last night but it was really nice to see everybody. Our group was fun and it was good to see some of the BC regulars there! :)

The amount of time, sweat and blood (to mosquitos) that the "crew" - typically 2 or 3 people - have done so far this year is unusual, and deserves MANY, MANY THANKS!

It's likely that the changes will be less and less noticeable from week to week.

JJ is there every Thursday night for the Eriks Ride, they have a calander of Eriks rides on their web site. Now that Leb is getting over crowded I think more people are looking to other trails to get away from the soccer moms.

Not sure of trail condition at this time 2:30 pm Thursday, but willing to bet that trail will be wet or trees down.

Erik's Thursday ride and Murphy Canceled for this week. Feel free to help Pete clear the trail if you can.

Thanks for cancelling the ride JJ. Murphy will be wet for the rest of the day - it got a significant amount of rain this afternoon (~1/2 inch), along with a lot of wind and some hail.

The trail will likely need until Friday to dry out.

We'll be out working on the trail on Sunday - if there are any issues we'll try and take care of 'em then.

Erik's Thursday night mountain bike ride is looking good at this point in time. 6 pm we leave the lot for a fun no drop ride. Open to all riders and pace is very relaxed everyone is welcome.

I'm going to cancel tonight's ride at Murphy due to wet conditions. I haven't heard back from Pete but I am assuming that the trail needs time to dry and the forecast is calling for more of the wet stuff.

Erik's 6 pm ride looks like a go at this point. Ride may be cut short if trail isn't in rideable conditions. Early trail report is ok at this point. I will be heading out to Murphy now for a full report. I will not be able to post up the final report.
