2 people interested in driving out to Crested Butte?

I have one buddy willing to commit to driving to Crested Butte (and Boulder for one night) leaving early morning on Wednesday, August 6, coming back Sunday, August 10th. We plan on spending the first night in Boulder on the way out, hitting a couple trails there, then driving to Crested Butte for the last 3 nights. I have a van that 4 would fit comfortably in...5 if I start stacking. Riding with a couple of new people would be great and with gas prices the way they are, a couple people to help split the cost of gas would be a nice benefit. It's a whirlwind tour I realize, but I love a good road trip! Anyone interested?

Disclaimer: I don't do well with rude people. If you don't like showers/baths, are mean, overly cocky, like to perform illegal acts, like to damage vehicles that you do not own, etc. we probably won't get along and nothing would suck more than being forced to spend 35 hours of car time together. However, I do well with nice, respectful people who love mountain biking and meeting new people!! We are not beginners, nor are we racer types, so if you are somewhere in the middle like us or are willing to wait for us if you are fast, let me know!!

I'm usually the one drinking something pink and fruity (and girly...I know...I've heard it all before) while everyone else is drinking manly drinks like beer. Can't answer for my buddy though. I've never seen him drink! Since it's hard to bring a mixer to the trailhead though, I'll tip one (or 2) back with anyone to toast the end of a great ride!

We ended up not going. One guy had a family emergency. We talked about possibly going West in the Fall, but nothing solid as of right now.

It's a ways off but a goal of mine is to make it out there next spring/ early summer. just have to sell one bike and purchase my dream bike first.
