Keweenaw trails ride weekend!

OK trail fans, some of you spoke with us about a trail ride here in the Keweenaw of da UP and its now officially a go. :banana: Folks will be arriving in Houghton, MI Friday July 25th, and we'll ride that evening if you like. Then ride full days Saturday, Sunday and even Monday the 28th! Floor space is offered at our humble home at a first spoken for, first offered bases. (We have largish home with only two beds! how about over the 4th? plans to come and ride around Marquette and up to CH for the fireworks 7/2-6

Weeeeeeeeell I'm not sure what we'll be doing for the 4th. We had spoke of going somewhere out of town and riding but personally I’m sick of traveling. We just got back from Appleton! ,,,,,,,, OK I just spoke with the spousal unit and she says that CH over the 4<SUP>th</SUP> is cool. We might pull our camper up there for the evening of the 4<SUP>th</SUP>. Are you interested in riding Swedetown, Tech or Churning R trails?

Ummm yah! I never really got a chance to ride the trails when I was at tech and only got into mtbing after my second year there and then I transferred to NMU, so yes again! The spousal unit is correct, the CH fireworks are AWESOME (from what I remember). We are still finalizing where to be, but looks like a couple of days in MQT then up to CH for fireworks and riding with you fine folks. We are game to ride whatever. How does that sound?

Great! I'm meeting my parents in the Porkies on the 28th, so riding around Houghton the previous weekend is perfect timing for me. I'll see if I can make it work and take advantage of your hospitality.
