went and rode this today. it is sweet only about 4 miles but i talked to a guy who rides it often and he said it will be extended to 8 miles by august. they have a huge race their 400+ riders and have to have this trail ready. they supposedly have a lot of trail just about ready to open the and trails change frequently. I read somewhere that someone in this forum said the trail is not marked at all, this is not true as the trail is marked very well. so check it out and their are some nice jumps, climbs, bridges, and a sweet wood berm on a downhill leading into a nice jump.

the mnscs site said that there is pre riding the day before. is the trail normally open to riding, or it one of those welch village/fon du lac situations? i'd like to ride it ahead of time, but i'm not sure i'll be able to get out the day before the race.

Well the trail is really only 5 miles as of right now, we have done a lot of trail work this summer and it changes almost weekly. Come and check it out...we have Thursday night racing until Sept. 11.

We rode Whitetail last week after coming back from a week of riding in Colorado. We were pretty impressed by the trail and enjoyed it's proximity to the cities. The trail was in great condition and well marked. Lots of fun features such as jumps, bridges and the very cool wooden berm which takes you into a really fun section. I'm planning on racing there next year if they do the Thursday night series again.
