Cool, I admire this girl for not only coming up with the idea but actually doing it!
The Star Trib had an article on her and I cruised over to the website and thought I'd try to drum up some support on the MORC site.

but .....hope the dad and son are in an alternative vehicle. If not the are they any different than a vegitarian who wears leather?

I wonder how much fuel will be used to cover this story...media driving around and what not..... seems MOM has the balls to ride with her...good for her..... get one more bike out there too ....Dad???? Son????? make it a family dealeo.....

You would think a car dealer/ brand would jump on the band wagon with a car to use.....uh alternative fuel just to get the publicity.

( ya, i understand the logisitics of supporting a ride this long, but really, a yukon xl? i hope they have at least 5 people in there at all times )

Here's a quote from the First Week Update, from their blog:

"Finally we crested a hill and saw GREGG’S BAR. YES!!!!!!! We stopped at the bar and had root beer and cheese curds. Mom had a Leinenkugels which she claims is an excellent source of carbs."

They even mention Blue Moon bike shop in Hayward.
