A thought...

Leb is closed, but the parking lot is open. How about we meet in the lot and build the final bridges.

I'm willing to bring all the remaining lumber and supplies if people just show up.

As a side-project we warn people coming in about the trails and hand them MORC business cards.. we get kind of a tent-days thing out of it at the same time, targeting people who probably have no idea who we are.

If enough people are interested we'll do it... we can check the ski trail and see, maybe we can even drag the finished ones out to the side of the new trail.

Count me in! The only thing is we won't have electricity to charge the extra batteries for the screw guns.

You still have three and a half hours -- I bet Bob could design and build a solar powered drill by then :D

I have like 6 batteries for mine... as long as everyone brings theirs charged up we'll probably be ok.

I can make. I haven't even taken my gun out of the car. I think both batteries are charged up so I should be set.

Charging batteries via inverter is also an option. But beware, that a few chargers don't like the modified square wave, and could possibly let the magical smoke escape from the semiconductors. I have never had a problem with any of mine charging using inverter power.

I can be there, but might be a few minutes late.

The more people with drills, the better. We need to be done by the time it gets dark.

I will be there too. Sounds fun.
Steve, looks like you are bringing your own back scratcher tonight so I am off the hook. I am keeping my nails long just for you.

DOes someone have a truck that might be willing to throw the 4-wheeler in the back?

If not we can take the trailer and make another run to get the 4-wheeler.

Ok, I have the trailer and am loading up the first load of wood. I'll probably be there earlier than 6... maybe even around 5... but still have the official time at 6. If anyone wants to come earlier and help unload feel free.

DANG!! Too bad I didn't see this earlier, and I could have left work earlier, got home, got the big inefficient worhtless big truck and pulled a trailer and a 4 wheeler in the back. But, I am still downtown, and won't get home until after 6. Good luck! Good luck talkin to the riders too!

Thanks again to everyone who came out - what a great time, and a lot accomplished.

I beleive we now have all the boardwalk sections built and out in the general area they need to be by the new trail.

Now we just need to connect them...

Its nice not having my garage full of lumber. :)

BTW: It was interesting... not many tried to ride the trail tonight.

Me things either:

1. People are starting to not ride we trails... or
2. People actually do read the forums and saw we were out there watching the entrance and didn't want to chance it.

Hmmm... :p
