yes, i graduate next fall and was planning on going the following year so that would be 2010. I would like to attend womens camp first and then a few days of riding on own.
I want to get to Whistler again. Shad and I were talking about a 2010 trip, not because we'd be there anyway, but in the hopes that I might find some hidden riding skillz by then. I had fun on my one and only trip up and down the mountain, but was much more impressed by the mind-boggling array of features and terrain found on the cross country trails.
By 2010, someone will have invented a fork-mounted airbag/parachute combo, right? :p

Plus a few days of riding afterwards!! I'd LOVE to have someone to go to the camps with...and ride with for that matter! I talked to a pro DH racer and she said shes heard GREAT things about the Dirt Series camps.
BTW, KT...my clavicle is healing well...I'm down for a trip to Red Wing when I get back from Virginia at the end of the month...you up for it? I haven't been there yet. Email me if ya wanna set something up!

Sweet, Josh! It would be nice for all of us to coordinate a trip out there during an event like, crankworx, and a womens camp during the same time period. Time to start saving:D

I'm not huge on planning in advance, but Whistler 2010 sounds like a doable journey...Katie and Kristin I could see if Amanda would attend a camp with you...I think she'd really enjoy that.

I would do a camp myself. That would be cool.

That would be awesome, Steve! When do we get to meet Amanda anyway?! One flight of stairs too much for ya? Just kidding!! If she would like Whistler, then I'm sure she and I would get along great!! :D

I just came back from Whistler, spent four days there. Awesome place to mountain bike, plus you can't rent the downhill bikes there (big $$$) and ride down the ski slopes. Few things to watch for though. This place is very expensive. Best way is to get six people or so, and rent a condo, they're affordable in the summer. Or there are some nice camp sites near the town. Right now they are ramping up for the winter Olympics in 2010, and there is much construction on the road between Vancouver and Whistler. It was our bad luck to get caught in the Pemberton music festival traffic (sort of the Canadian woodstock) so that was a nightmare. But the biking made up for the hassles, and we had a great time.
