I just put on my new e 13 and of course I removed my third chainring first. Is there something I can do to change my shifter from 3 to 2 speeds without buying a different one? I guess at this point I will just hope I don't accidentally shift up to the old large ring.
You screw in the adjuster screw to limit it from shifting to the top ring.

You can do what Dan says or you can do nothing at all. There is nothing to shift *up* to and unless something is set up horribly wrong you'll just push the chain into the inboard side of the basher. No harm...no foul.

What Dan said, it is so easy even I can do it.

I did my own as well. Just turn those little screws til you figure it out. Took me about 6 minutes to figure out which adjuster screw limited which side of the chainring.

For the record, there should be no *issue* shifting into the no longer present "big ring". There is no need to adjust anything. Install the basher and keep on riding. If you *really* want to tweak it, great, but it is not necessary.

Just so everyone knows, turn the screw with the H labeled on it, high limit, until it doesn't go up there anymore. I would also guess that the bash guard sits a little higher than the original third ring so it probably wouldn't be wise to shift into that too many times.
