Hi Everyone
I need 2 or 3 people to show up at Lebanon Hills at 1:00 tomorrow(Friday May 30) to help with an informational video that is being shot by Parks and Trails Coucil of Minnesota. Parks and Trails is a local non-profit private organization that will be doing some assistance with MORC and IMBA to promote the economic impact that mountain bikers have on a community.
What I need are at least one male and one female that can ride 95% of the obstacles at Lebanon. I am not trying to be sexist here but having both genders helps with promotional stuff for this video.
Please post here as well as e-mailing me of your availability for this project.

Sorry about such short notice but the guy (who will remain nameless john l) became unavailable at the last minute and can not make the meeting.
Thanks in advance

Tim,
I can do this if you like. I can ride all the obstacles at Leb, especially if I get more than one try and I get to rest between shots. I can take the afternoon off (I need to get on some dirt anyway)I'll be able to do it. Would you like me in my NMBP jersey or my MORC jersey?

Tim, this sounds like a great project. Thanks for working on it. Unfortunately I can not make it at that time (I need a job where work is not involved), but would love to know more about it and to see the final product.
Tim,
I can make it and can ride all the features at Leb! I'm available all day!

Tony, Steve and Buck. You will be my riding examples. Give me a call around 12 to see if everything is still on. Not sure when the rain will stop. We will call off the video shoot if it is raining.

Hi Everyone
Just thought I would post a big THANK-YOU to those that helped with our presentation yesterday at Lebanon Hills.
We had good representation from MNDNR Trails and Waterways personnel as well as the director of land acquistion from Parks and Trails Council of Minnesota.
A little background for everyone here. Trails and Waterways has become responsible for recreation activities in all the Minnesota State Forests and they wanted to see what types of trails mountain bikers liked. What attracts us to a trail and which user groups we would willingly share a trail with. Parks and Trails Council is creating a promotional video that they can present at communities about the economic benefits of trails for all user groups.
The goals during this outing was to show Trails and Waterways people what type of trails mountain bikers like to ride, how our trails stand up to extensive use, how we can control speed on the trails and how responsible our group is when it comes to staying on the trail and helping with maintaining the trails that we use. These goals were all accomplished yesterday. TRails and Waterways were very impressed with our trails as well as the riding skills of the riders.
Parks and Trails Council got some exciting footage from the helmet cam as well as videoing the riders as they did some navigating of obstacles. The comment they made in the parking lot was " Everything else on the video from other user groups will be talking heads, this segment on mountain biking will be the most exciting and wake up the crowd. Definitely this segment will be the best and most interesting part of the video."
Thanks again for support MORC! Thanks for showing up to ride Adam, Tony and Steve and along with the Lebanon Hills Trail, being the stars of what I hope will be a frequently shown video addressing riders, trails and the economic benefits of having mountain bikers coming to trails near you!
Oh and John L, cant believe you deleted my last message because it was contradictory----you better be careful I might just come next door to your place and TP your house!!

Tim, is there a way you will be able to post up the video? I would be very interested in seeing it. Sounds like a great project.
Right on Tim! It was great to make it out to Leb and ride for the video and meet everyone! Hopefully some of the helmet cam stuff turns out!
Let us know when it gets posted online!

I will see what I can do about getting it posted. I think the video is supposed to be completed by June 10. So sometime after I get back from my motorcycle trip to Arkansas I will try to get it posted on MORC's website.

Tim,
Did you ever hear back from them on this video? I'd love to see what they ended up doing with it if it's online anywhere.
