We will be continuing to work on the new trail. Meet in the parking lot, tools will be provided. Hope to see a good crew like last week, we got a lot done.
I believe the machine will be out starting on the trail, so it will be a great time for people to see that part of how a trail takes shape.

Okay so I missed the first trail work session at Leb. I plan to be there tuesday. I am also offering an incentive to others who have never done trail work before. If you are a first timer to trail building tomorrow I will give you a free pair of leather palmed work gloves.
Now is your chance to experience the thrill of trail work.
See you on the trails.

I'm going to try to sneak out for a lap beforehand, if possible. (brown van) Don't wait up for me because I don't know what my schedule will be.

Hey - I'm going to try to make it--two questions, though:
1. Is there anything I need to bring / wear / etc.? I thought I had seen a page on the wiki at one point, but can't find it now.
2. What time do you usually end? Do people usually go out for a lap after? I can't make it for one before, but if I should bring my bike, I will.
Thanks,
Isaac

You don't need to bring anything, like tools, but bring work gloves and wear long pants w/ sturdy shoes.
Normally, we end around 8:30-ish, when it gets dark. We don't bike afterwards.
See you out there!

This is the stuff to get. You cannot put it on your skin. This is made to put on your clothing and give time to dry. It will last for several weeks even through washing. This will actually kill the ticks. I have several pair of trailwork socks and my pants that get treated. If you are going to be down digging with your hands, spraying your shirt would be a good idea as well.

Thanks for coming out, everyone. We got quite a bit of work done. Probably one more session to get the lake east-side ready to go.
One tick on me.
