Now that Lutsen has closed down the mountain bike park I'm planning to explore the Sugarbrush Trail system in Tofte, MN. My Dad grew up in Tofte so I spent a lot of time in my younger years exploring the forests of the area and know the terrain is incredible. I'm a little aprehensive about riding on XC ski trails and wanted to know if anyone on this forum has ridden these trails and can give a recomendation? The trail from Carlton peak down to Tofte looks like fun since it drops about 600 vertical feet and should be rough but how about back towards LeVeaux and Oberg?
