Hi patrollers,
I am in need of 6-8 patrollers for the upcoming Tour De Cure for Diabetes bike ride. I have spoken with the American Diabetes Association and they are willing to donate to the MORC patrol if we can provide medical support for their ride.
Any MORC patrollers wishing to help out would be great. 4 of the 6 patrollers would be at stationary points along the ride (with bikes) so you wouldn't have to ride the whole course if you didn't want to.
They need 2 sweeps and possibly 2 rovers to ride the ride. They are estimating 600+ people riding in this event this year.
You would be finished at 2pm. I plan on riding this one and we will be splitting up into teams of two. The course is around MPLS, through the lakes area and Minnehaha park area. Similar to the MPLS Bike Tour last fall. PM me if you can patrol this event.

Please volunteer if you can, I know you know of at least 1 diabetic in your family and this is a great way to help out the cause, plus give us exposure in the road riding arena. It should be a fun ride.
