Opening Date?

The city actually has a set date for Terrace that is usually well after its dry enough to ride. Not sure what it is though.

Of course, please let it dry after this recent rain.

Thanks . I knew it was a posted May 1st, but figured that may vary with the late winter this year. I will drive down there prior to showing up to ride to be sure conditions are prime!!:banana:

Someone updated the Trail Conditions page (the synopsis area - not the "in detail forum"). (Thanks!) Looks like the trail is okay, but there are a bunch of trees down.

So has the city of Burnsville officially opened the trail?????????

Hey all,

I rode the trail Sunday morning. The "Trail is open" sign is posted. Trail condition is tacky to slippery in some parts due to the leafs. Muddy pit next to the ice rink.

I counted three major tree trunks down across the trail, will need chainsaws for them, and various smaller branches that needs to be clear. I'll be happy to help when the trail boss posts up for trail work.

Sorry for jumping in late! Terrace is OPEN and ready to ride, except for the 3 tree spots, two on the singletrack and one on the doubletrack. They will be cleared by Wednesday night if everything works out right schedulewise :)
