group ride April 12/13

Just for anyone intersted. Gonna be riding the cities. Location yet to be decided. Thinking U of M and around there.

I wouldn't mind hanging out and riding one of the days. For me, later in the afternoons works best for these types of rides. I tend to like to do longer road and mtb rides during the day.

Would Saturday and/or Sunday around 6pm work? I won't be doing Trials, just street on my Nighttrain.....but riding is riding.....right?....:)

Josh, I can txt ya when we figure that out. Talking about parking by Varsity bikes shop in Dinkytown then ride from there.

My guess is we will be riding much earlier in the day. No point to wait til 6pm and only get 1 1/2hrs of daylight. We'll probably be riding by noon at the latest. But, that also depends on the schedules of everyone else, since 6-7 of us are comming from out of town.

The nice thing about being in town is that you don't need daylight to ride. Everything is lighted. We used to ride from 7pm or so until 2am most days when I didn't have to be to work until 11.

Riding trials is the dark is a bit different than street. It throws off the depth perception a bit and that can make a huge difference on certain moves.

For those that go on this ride, I have one on Saturday starting later in the day.....if you still have some juice left.
