I'm putting a new set of cables on my Klein Palomino with internal cable routing and I'm wondering if anyone has any tips/secerts on how to get them through the frame.

A thin hangar, with the cable attached(taped). Keep it lo-profile.
And just start feeding it...
This will at least give you the ability to direct the cable to the opposite hole.
It worked well for me.

A bent spoke with a hook on the end works well for fishing it out of the frame also. I put it in the hole of the frame and feed the cable through, when it reaches the other end I just yank it out! Hope this isn't reposted on some other kind of forum!!

Most Kleins have a plastic cable liner that the bare cables running through the frame run through.
I have always just superglued now cables to the old and fed them through that way.
The Attitude actually had everything pulled out and it was a couple of hours worth of fishing cable and housing through the frame.
If the originals are still in place, use them to pull/guide/fish the new ones through...
Makes the job much much eaiser.

I got a little zealous in my repair and pulled everything out. I'm going to try the wire method kikinik mentioned.
How about magnets? I read some where that some used magnets.

put a little bend in the end of the cable and watch the hole where the cabel comes out. Usually if you can see the cable, you can turn it and the bend will find its way out the hole. Works everytime and I've done an assload of internal cables.
The spoke idea works also if the hole is big enough to fish around for the cable.
never had to use a magnet, just put a little bend in it. :bunny:

I think that advice could apply to most things in life.;)

The Klein website used to have some tips on this, but doesn't seem to be there anymore, not surprised. Good suggestions here, or look to MTBR for tips.
