I spoke with the supervisor of Dakota County Parks yesterday and we agreed to close the trails at Lebanon Hills until things dry up in the spring (sometime mid-April)

Please pass this along to everyone you know. This is the most critical time fo the year to stay off the trails. Even if you think there is a lot of snow there are already patches of raw trail showing. Same goes for the spring - if the trail is 90% dry it means 10% of it still needs time, and that means the entire trail is still closed.

This is a DAKOTA COUNTY trail closing. We are assisting, and will assist in monitoring for re-opening in the spring.

Parks Patrol has also been requested to patrol more than usual this spring due to the investments that have been made into the trail system.

Watch for the MORC tent to show up on those "almost dry" spring weekend days to help educate riders on why they should stay off the trails as well as get the word out about MORC.
