View Full Version : Wet Pants...
Sure is splashy out there. I had fun hitting every puddle on the Greenway this afternoon. Saw some little kid riding around Nokomis doing the same thing, his mom wasn't as happy as he was.

Every spring I take out a bike on "Puddle Crusade" with the goal of coming back with nothing dry. Yesterday would have been a great day, unfortunately after my run yesterday I was just dead.

Yes, yesterday would have been a great day for that. I wasn't quite in the mood, plus had a backpack of work clothes and stuff on, so I went thru the huge puddles along the river very slowly, but the wet pavement went regular speed. Wasn't too wet when I got home, but the backpack was pretty dirty.
I rode my new bike yesterday afternoon, it's now dirty, and I don't really like the bike.

Well duh, who would like a new bike that gets dirty so quickly.
NO one likes dirty!

Well, I'm sure you'll be getting a new one next week.

I'm beginning to realize this...
I rode in today, first time this year. My fenders kept me dry although it looks as if there will be some rain on the way home. So much for staying dry.

Fenders are for commuters. :p

It's too warm for me to ride now. I usually wear a suit and I don't store any at the office so during the winter I was able to wear snow pants and a jacket over my suit. These clothes, combined w/ a ski mask and face covering, kept me nice and warm. With this melt it's too sloppy to wear just a suit and the rest of the clothes make me sweat too much.
Arrrrrrgh, bring back the -10 temps so I can ride to work again!!!
which one and why?
The 575, the color is terrible and the rear end is too soft. I might just need to loose some weight and wear darker glasses.

Holy crap Dan!
You really have come up with an expensive way to test-ride a bike.

A) Can you push the shock?
b) get over the colour already. :)
