Anyone ride one? I'm looking for a light XC fork for less than $400.
JensonUSA has the XC 600 and 700 for about $265. The mtbr.com reviews were not very encouraging, sounds like they require lots of experimentation with set-up, and are prone to major problems.
The last fork I had was a marz and I loved it. Just wanted to see what kind of experiences others had before I throw down some cash.
Thanks.

My first shock was a marz and I loved it. My second was an air marz and didn't like it near as much. First one was plush and hardly ever needed maintenance. That was a '98, not sure what's up with them now. I loved the old ones though.

That seems to be the general consensus.
I had a MX Pro on my last bike and it was great. Never needed much maintenance and it was really smooth.

I still love my '02 Marathon SL. It's a 100mm and I have been running that on my Surly 1x1. It jacks the headtube a bit but the added suspension is a good enough trade off.
