I posted this in the trail conditions section but i'll also throw it out here: Theo is CLOSED for the spring thaw!
When it gets warmer it'd be nice to have people man a table to help educate riders...

Sorry 'bout that. There has been talk of having a table or a tent at the trails when it's nice so that a few people could talk to riders about why the trail is closed.

That's a great idea. Before I knew of MORC I'm sure I rode Leb a few times each Spring when it shouldn't have been riden...I had no idea it was bad for the trails. SORRY!!! :banghead::banghead::banghead:
I love that you all post up about this stuff now and try to educate people so that silly people like myself know when NOT to ride!

I'm in the same boat as you and I suspect there are others who aren't familiar w/ MORC that don't know how much time is spent maintaining the trails.
Mara, would the city frown up us sitting in front and educating riders? After what you told me yesterday i have a feeling they wouldn't like this plan...
