The forum was Mr. Lundell's baby...he would know dates better than I.
I've got some really old MORC newsletters and stuff in my basement. I'll try to get some of it scanned and posted soon.

Actually MORC is now 10 years old.
So in the next few years we can expect that we'll develop nasty acne and have a cracking voice?

Nope. I'm not a visionary, rabble rouser, or organizer. I'm just good at eventually recognizing other people's great ideas after being slammed in the head a few times.
MORC was already alive and growing while I was still taking my first MTB rides on a borrowed bike.
