Thicker lube an lower psi. Use studs for riding on ice.

I have found spaying your entire bike with liquid silicon spray works great for protecting and lubing all cables, derailers, chain and gears and prevents moisture from entering alot of componants and keeps snow from sticking to your bike, which inturn keeps your bike clean and lite! be a little careful on the brakes it takes a stop or two to get them back if you hit them with the spray too,,
then when done with ride wash it with water and spray agian,, (if dirty) its the road grim (salt) you get driving to the ride thats harder than any thing, if possible limmit that..

and go 4d if want to shread the snow! http://4dsnowbike.com/
