Bicyclist carrying shotgun arrested in St. Cloud

Suspect had an outstanding warrant



Police in St. Cloud, Minn., arrested a bicyclist who they say was riding around the city with a shotgun strapped to her back.
A citizen spotted a woman who "was carrying a gun in her lap" as she rode in the area of N. 3rd Street and 16th Avenue N. around 11:15 p.m. Monday, said Sgt. Joe Kraayenbrink.
Police caught up to the bicyclist a few minutes later and found the gun strapped to her back, said Kraayenbrink.
Turns out the 22-year-old woman is a convicted felon and had a warrant out for her arrest. She was arrested and faces charges of a felon in possession of a firearm and carrying a firearm in a public place, Kraayenbrink said.

As a convicted felon I would think that the "less-is-more" theory should've been employed.

Nothing says "inconspicuous" like a shotgun strapped to your back...

*Snort* You guys crack me up! Actually, that link for the hydration bra was sort of interesting. I have to wonder where she was going too, but then again regardless if she's a felon, she could have been off to hunt like any guy does with a shotgun. I know I've shot a few turkeys in my life!
