Anybody out there have a new or almost new set of Nokian Hakka WXC 300 (or current equivalent) tires? Experience tells me I maybe should replace my Hakkas after 5 years of winter service, but the wear seems minimal. I'd like to get a look at a new tire to try to discern if I have appreciable stud wear.
Shoot me a PM if applicable. Thanks in advance.

Here's a pic of mine couple of rides. I think they will still be good till the studs are well below the rubber. Atleast thats the experiace i have. I have been riding in the winter for many years and for most of them without studs. A really soft rubber tire works almost as good as studs except glare ice.

If you haven't had many (or any) studs tear out of their housing, your tire is probably just fine. I've had mine for three years now and they're still in great condition. It definitely helps too if you ride mostly on snow and ice, and avoid pavement! :p
