How long a steerer tube? I probably have some dirt cheap ones otherwise I have a nice Surly 1x1 fork (white) I'd sell for 15 bucks.

I have a black one, though the steerer tube is only 5 and 3/4 inch long

Is there a particular axle-to-crown length you are looking for?

Axle-to-crown lengths on forks for 26" wheels can range from ~390mm to over 450mm.
That's 60mm (over 2.3") in axle-to-crown length variability, which could easily make a significant difference in your bike's handling.

Well I finally got out to my garage and surprise to me I found a brand new black chromo 1-1/8" black rigid fork, steerer tube length is massive. I'll have it as well at the swap meet and if it doesn't sell there I'll post up here.

You can check out the forks in the basement at One On One downtown. They have lots of stuff. I bet you could get something real cheap, too...
