Almost forgot that I have a used Blur VPP sitting here. Sorry I don't have a picture.
All black frame, Salsa QR on the post, post included, (rear) fox float R w/ava and rebound also included., Anything I am forgetting? Size small, for some one in the 5'2" to 5'6" range.

$550.

Do you have any pictures you could post or send to me. Is it the frame or the whole bike. If it's the whole bike what are the rest of the specs?

This is waaay too tempting...but I think a small is too small for me. Lisa, what size is yours? I'm 5'7 and my bike now is a 17". It feels just a tish large, so maybe? I like the idea of black, too. I could probably take stuff from my Trek 6700 and move it over, right? Hmmmm...

Your overall height is a good starting point for determining a frame size, but it's going to come down more to leg and arm length than overall height.

I'm about 5'10" and ride a medium. My girlfriend is about 5'1" and rides (read: barely fits on) an XS. You sound like you are kind of borderline for small and medium, so it will depend more on your preferences and arms and legs.

Most parts should change over.

April, here's the links to geometry and sizing for the Blurr. You may just be on the cusp. Maybe you can figure out what your current bike standover and toptube is then compare it to below. This is just my opinion and personal experience, but I would rather go a tad bit smaller on a bike then larger if you didn't fit neatly into either size category.

if your on the cusp of the geometry, I would say the smaller size would be better, never ride a bike that is too big for you. It should work fine

Thanks! I was just trying to check the Trek page, and I think my bike is actually an 18", but I have to check when I get home. I don't know why I can never remember this crap.

Is your Trek women's specific?

Yes, but I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Yes, but I'm not sure how I feel about that.

I only asked to remind you that an 18" wsd is not the same as a standard 18" trek.

April -
My Blur is a Med. I believe their frame size is for Med is 17" and has decent stand over for that.

That being said, I'm almost always between a med or a large - I usually go Med. - though with the Blur, I could of gone Large pretty easy, but they were backed ordered and I did not want to wait.

April, I think you would be on the top of the curve for a small frame. I would let you try mine out so that you can see how it feels the next time we try to ride. This weekend is a maybe but with the new snow and warm weather I am not sure riding will be in the cards. 500 for the frame with the shock is a good deal. I would make sure the shock is in good working order for sure and get it painted for about 100- 200 from santa cruz before building it up. Check out their web site for more information.
