Do they make an ISO Disc hub? I thought it was non-disc only.

Not until recently. The ISO adapter for rotor mounting works nicely. The fun bolts on the other hand.........PITA!!:banghead:

Funn bolts PITA? What issues have you had? I loved those...have a similar set up on my DTs right now.

Nice FOTC sig!

I learned to dislike them when I was running SB8's on my Ventana, and having a bunch of pinch flats on the back. In addition to needing a large allen wrench (no big deal), they were a hassle to get past my dérailleur, because the bolt head is so big. Also, if you open them too much, the threads don't fit through the drop-outs.

Still, they are supposed to hold better and stiffer than quick releases, so I'm leaving them on for now.

$20 at Jenson buys you the adapters needed to convert to quick release.

I used my CKs on both FS geared and SS but primarily the latter and on a KM - eliminated the need for a Tugg Nut which I always found to be a PITA. I always carry a big 8mm hex key in my backpack for crank bolts anyways.

That depends are you looking for a full up wheelset (set in Pewter) of just the hubs (Mango)?

The 'Fun' bolts are a great idea if your running a single speed with horizontal drops, otherwise they are a bit of a PITA. They are suppose to be more durable than a QR though so if your hard on the bike they might be the way to go.

I like the hex wrench to tighten, but had issues keeping them from slipping. For prevention, I started using tugs. Of course, the fun bolts are too large and the tugs have to be drilled out. I started with Surly (3 have broken), and now I am using Spot.

The PITA comment is more that I have had to modify multiple tugs to work with them. Love the bling!!! Sorry for the hj!!

FOTC
