SnowKite Rally: January 5 and 6th

There has been some discussion on here about snowkiting and kiteboarding. Just wanted to let everyone know that there will be a snowkite rally out by Waconia on Swede Lake. This is meant to be a gathering of sorts for the minnesota community. There will be some sponsors there and should be a great opportunity for those interested in it to come check it out. The guys who ride there are really stepping it up this year with the terrain park they build. This should be a really fun time. They just put up a basic webpage to get the information out, check back often for updates.

hey I am planning on going and checking it out next weekend and might even bring some of the film gear just to get some footage.

I am looking at getting into kiteboarding, it just seems like more fun then paying 36.00 to ride a chair lift half the day.

awesome, I am going to try and be out there. Think some people will be up for loaning/demoing out some basic setups? (or will it be more watching stuff?)

Honestly i'm not sure what will be available there. I know there will be a lot of people riding and a good number of company reps/instructors there. It may be worth it to make a post over at www.lakawa.com (http://www.lakawa.com) about that to see.

Looks to be an epic day. we have over 50 confirmed riders showing up and a bunch of great stuff setup. There will be a bunch of instructors on hand if you think you want to try it out in a group setting (maybe cheaper)
