If anyone is interested I would like to go soon since it looks like places are opening up.

Lutsen is shooting for 20-25 runs open this Saturday. They have gotten 8" of freshies since yesterday, with more on the way and are making snow around the clock. Afton is also making some good progress. Sounds like they are going to have 3 chairs open by this weekend.

Now that I have all new (i.e. not from 1988 Sticks Boots and Poles), I am ready to go. Plus it should be must less stressful on my shoulder... I hope.

duuuude, my grandpa blew out BOTH knees skiing...do not, I repeat, do not ski on a bad knee.

Or did you just mean you were down for riding the chairs up and down the hill? ;)

You won't blow out your knees if you point them straight down the hill and don't turn them til you get to the bottom and quickly turn them to right(or left) to stop.:jumpy:

I'm feeling the itch real bad. The bikes have been been hung up for good, the training bike is all set up and I'm gonna tune my skis in the garage this weekend for sure.

I've been to Hyland once already, and I'll be there again tomorrow. It might be small, but it's better than not riding...

I'm going to be on snow tomorrow night because I'm attending Afton's clinic for Ski instructor training. If I get the gig, it will be free season pass for me. So, heck yeah I'll ride with anybody there.

I've got New Public Enemys this year too:banana:
