How do I put a pic on a post?

upload it to an image hosting site like www.photobucket.com (http://www.photobucket.com) Then when your posting your reply/thread, use the "insert image" button that looks like mtn with a yellow sky. You will need to have a webaddress to put in there. You could also use the tag's.

This never works for me, I'm a looser. Copy, paste IML in pretty little box under insert image, and get a red X. What am I doing wrong?

when you post reply or post a thread scroll down to manage attachments under additional options uneder the box where you reply your message, click and add pic

when looking at your Image properties this is the webaddress that is provided.
http://www.morcmtb.org/forums/http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x128/newportr/Bikes/kula1.jpg
What you want is http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x128/newportr/Bikes/kula1.jpg
Put those between the [IMG] and tags and you get
http://i187.photobucket.com/albums/x128/newportr/Bikes/kula1.jpg

Just click on the little yellow "picture" icon when editing a post. (looks like a small mountain) - it will ask for your link and embed the photo for you... so you don't have to memorize the necessary pre and post tags.
