I went for a ride today & my feet got a little cold . so I was looking @ the lake winter shoes .& does anyone no if they work well If i use platform pedals even if i have the cleat on the bottom of the shoe. I hope that on cold days i can use my cleats & in deep snow i can switch to platform without changing boots

They do work...quite well. I run them with Time ATACs. They have nice full outsoles but I'd recommend running clipless. Platforms will chew up any boot. Do a "search" on here and on MTBR.
