downtown minneapolis? I only have 30 minutes normally, but I can sorta pick when I go. next monday, tuesday, all of the following week.

Where's Sawatdee downtown?

I'm at 5th and Hennepin so it'd be nice to meet somewhere accessible/near the skyway system. Ike's and Lyon's Pub are good if you like sitdown or there are lots of places on 1st Ave.

Or Sneaky Pete's. I think I have coupons there! Good food...

Sawatdee downtown: First Avenue & 4th Steet or Washington Avenue. Kickin' Thai food all around.

Ike's (6th Street between Nicollet and Hennepin) is good, but a tough place to get a group together – not too many/any big tables.

Lyon's (ditto) is a good place for a group wtih pretty decent food.

Lonetree (Hennepin & 6th) is a solid burger & fries joint with plenty of space. Ditto Gluek's, just down the block.

Plenty of places on First Avenue, though most are kinda sports-barish.

Heading down Nicollet, there's The Local, The Newsroom, Brit's...a little spendier but good grub.

It's not skywayable, strictly speaking. But it's a pretty short jog from a few buildings that are. And more than worth it, IMHO.

Also, the 4th Street locale is closer to skyways than the Washington Ave. locale. Not to mention a wee bit closer to April, Justin, me, and – I think – Matt...

Transportation-wise, I'm in the same boat as everyone else.

I do like pad thai, and was thinking bout getting that, or cashew chicken. never had the burning cornholio. Friends often say that will hurt tomorrow to me, they have hurt tomorrow, but I have yet to experience it. I must have a good internal processor, and everything is completely processed before sending onward...

I have today off, and I'm sitting here like a bump on a log. I'm goin' skating at the Depot in 1 hour and 3 minutes...anyone want to come? Talk about a thread hijack. NO ONE I KNOW HAS TODAY OFF! It sucks. It's lonely. It's not banana-worthy. All the friends I work with are in a heated poker match that our HR person throws every year. Blah.

Anyway, Depot, 3:00. It's kind of expensive if you don't have skates - $15. $8 I think if you do.

Oh, and Katy, yeah, I'll be at Cafe Brenda...looking forward to that!
