View Full Version : Murphy Trailwork - Sunday 11/18 at 10am

Fall Trailwork Schedule for Murphy-Hanrehan: 1st and 3rd Sunday of every month.

We will meet on Sunday 11/18 at 10am at the main trailhead (where you would park if you were riding the trail). We'll supply the tools. Please wear long pants, good shoes or boots, and gloves. Bring water... and a snack might be a good idea too.

If you are under 18 yrs old, bring a parent or guardian along.

I can't make this one. My brother's family is coming in for Thanksgiving week and I will be busy with my nieces and nephews over the weekend.

Haven't decided yet... there are a bunch of things we can work on. We'll probably hit some minor problem spots and/or make some fun little tweaks to the advanced loop.

A BIG thanks to Mike, Cam and Saundra for coming out on the coldest day of trailwork we've had in a long time!!

We fixed the last turn of the advanced loop (there's a slight berm there now), added another log to the advanced qualifier, cleaned up a natural berm that started to form just after marker 66, and filled in the gap that had formed in the transition off the split rock.

This was likely our last major trailwork session of the season (I'm assuming the ground will be frozen by Dec. 2nd).
