Well I just couldn't let my hardtail frame hang around forever. I had some misc. stuff laying around that allowed me to piece it together for pretty cheap. It's nothing special but I really like how it rides so far. According to my scale it weighs just a tad over 23lbs.

Since I have no real experience with the singlespeeders I was quite surprised at the difference between the 16 and the 18t rear sprockets. The 16 will be nice for just cruising but I don't think I'm in good enough shape yet to be doing any real climbs. It'll be fun to mess around on though.

Hear that? It's the sound of homeless brain cells.

Cool, I like it. Hey what ever happened to that white saddel you use to have on there? If that is still around and not in use, I might like to try that on the roadie.

I have it, it's yellow not white. I feel the need to mention that it's also very uncomfortable. You are welcome to use it and see what you think.

People really like those old Zaskar frames. A friend of mine has one from the mid - later 90's.....and he will not get rid of it.

Welcome the the world of SS. You might become addicted like many of us did.
