Ughh. Oh well, if we are going to get snow this year, hopefully we get enough so that I can use my snowshoes and crosscountry skis! I actually can't wait to snowshoe Murphy this winter.

Ryan, you really need to get winter riding. It's not nearly as nice as the hot summer, but it does not suck.

Plus, it'll compliment your other winter sports. I'm also fairly avid XC skiing. If we get some deep snow this winter, I might start night skiing again. Just wear your bike helmet/light and head out to your favorite trails.

Oh o, so it could be a fun commute home on the skinny road tires? I will be going from St Paul to Cottage Grove, so hoping I am safe.

My feet are a real big problem that keeps me away. I also really like the small break I get from riding. It gets me all the more excited for spring!

We had flurries while riding Murphy today, blustery winds and it was awesome! I loved the cold smell and can't wait for my studs to come out!

Seriously... people who dislike the cold weather need to take a moment to realize what makes living here so great. Cool autumn camping, cold dusting of snow on singletrack... the smells of fall and winter. We have plenty of 90s and humid for those who believe losing water weight equals losing regular weight. ;) Now is the time to enjoy and celebrate the cold while we still can... our winters are getting shorter it seems... must be something to do with the climate changing or something like that. :cryin: :p

I loved today. I planned my commute to take advantage of the wind. Nothing like getting blown up hill towing a trailer!

This would be another great example of one of those comments that's just too easy to hit out of the park. ;)

My commute home was fabulous also. Strong tail wind all the way, and flurries a lot of the way.
