Murphy-Hanrehan CLOSED Nov. 9-11

Murphy-Hanrehan Park will be closed all day November 9th, 10th and 11th.

There will be deer hunts occurring on November 9th, 10th and 11th.

The entire park, including the mountain bike trail, will be closed all day to all uses (except hunting) on those days.

The park will close at sunset on the 8th, and re-open at 5am on the 12th.

Glad I checked the forums... but that's a bummer I was thinking of heading out that way saturday. First they say we can't ride in the dark so most of us who work can't ride during the week, then they close it over the weekend too.

Yep, we wouldn't even have been complaining in past years because it closed at the end of October. The new riding season and times are such an improvement over the past, plus the trail is way better!

While riding last thursday I saw a large white-tail buck and began having horror thoughts of hunting accidents. I did a quick assessment of how much white I had on (2" panels on each side of my shirt), and became more nervous.

Too bad, I was planning on riding out there tomorrow. Thanks for bumping the thread.
