I saw this for the first time during the Halloween Haunt. There seems to be a lot of dirt available. What is needed to get this finished up? Are there regular trailwork sessions. I assume the land manager is behind this. If so, this could be a first for our area and we should get it done. Adam Buck, have you been in on this at all?

We worked on it a couple of times. some of the tables need to be caped with clay and diled in, some are done. Richzilla headed this one up and Buck Tony Eddie and I, we have put tons of hours in to it (along with others) so you need to talk with Rich about when we are going to finish it. I know that the dirt needed to settle some before we went back to cap them.

Cool....thanks for the info.
weRd Paul!!!
Paul came in last minute when we got on the telephone looking for the best cat operator this side of the Rockies. hahaha
Buck House Productions donated $750 towards the DJ park, Tony Benusa and Rich Omdahl dug into their pockets as well for a second bobcat. So to move all that dirt we had two bobcats! Tony and Rich did the majority of the design and layout. Got a give a big shout out to Eddie for bringin' out the wheeler so we could pack the jumps. I know there were a couple other peeps out helpin' us but I can't seem to remember who it was.(sorry)
They still need a lot of work but are the first legit DJs in MN that I know of.

Well, from what I could tell....the stuff out there right now is pretty well set up. Most of it just needs shaping and packing.
Any time soon when more work will be done. I know I am super busy most of the time, but if I get a chance I would love to come out and help work and hopefully do some riding too!

These are definitely legit dirt jumps. We are calling it a "skills park" or "progression area" under recommendation of the City. We have to keep all features under 4' tall, except the roll-in. A lot has been done as far as dirt moving, and now that the majority of the piles have settled and been packed in by the rains, it's time for shaping and buffing. It is far from a finished product and it looks pretty ghetto. There are a few issues to figure out, so we don't need a bunch of people thinking that there is a completed park up there. Do not drive up there expecting to session a DJ park. Construction has only begun.
That being said, if anyone with DJ experience would like to help out, let me know. I have an email list that I notify when we plan build sessions. You can also let me know if you just want to go out there by yourself to do a little shaping on your own. Just be sure to tell me who you are. If the City finds you out there doing construction and you aren't approved, they may not like it.
There is quite a bit of work to be done out there, and the DJ's aren't my only responsibilty, so much help is needed. Like it has already been said, these could be the first legit DJ's in the state. If you want to be a part of that, email or pm me.
get awesome

Well, it's a good thing you have a very experienced dirt jumping/building bmx rider that lives down the street from that trail. I rode back there a few weeks ago and checked them out. Awesome dirt, and it should be a fun set for everyone. Holla for my phone number or something and I could pedal up next time you guys are carving transitions.
